Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP)

Children are qualified for the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) if they meet the following criteria:

  • They are under 21 years of age
  • They are medically fragile
  • They require medically necessary skilled nursing care or personal care support services
  • They are receiving physician-ordered services
  • They are a Georgia resident
  • They are enrolled in Medicaid or have Medicaid pending

GAPP provides a variety of services, including:

  • Assistance with daily living activities
  • Bathing
  • Meals
  • Housekeeping
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Assistance with ambulation and transfers
  • IV therapies
  • Wound care
  • Tube feedings
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
