Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP)
Children are qualified for the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) if they meet the following criteria:
- They are under 21 years of age
- They are medically fragile
- They require medically necessary skilled nursing care or personal care support services
- They are receiving physician-ordered services
- They are a Georgia resident
- They are enrolled in Medicaid or have Medicaid pending
GAPP provides a variety of services, including:
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Bathing
- Meals
- Housekeeping
- Monitoring vital signs
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- IV therapies
- Wound care
- Tube feedings
- Gastrointestinal disorders
